NATIONAL LATIN EXAM

The National Latin Exam (NLE) is offered under the joint sponsorship of the American Classical League and the National Junior Classical League. More than 123,000 Latin students from across the United States and in nine foreign countries (Australia, Canada, England, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, the Republic of Niger, Switzerland, and Zimbabwe) took the 2002 NLE. The 26th Annual NLE will be administered at The Harker School during the second full week in March. The application deadline for the exam is in early January. For more information, please see the NLE Website. There you will find syllabi for each level (Latin I thru Latin VI) and copies of previous exams (Mr. Hawley has copies of exams back to 1979).
