MEDUSA MYTHOLOGY EXAM

The Medusa Mythology Exam was created in 1996 by Matthew Webb, then a high school student in Maryland. It has grown tremendously in the last 6 years and this year's test was administered to over 7000 students. The purpose of the exam is "to allow all high-school level Classics students the opportunity to excel and be recognized in the field of mythology, and to increase the general knowledge of mythology. Our philosophy is that mythology is an important insight into ancient thought, and that a thorough knowledge of this information will better allow our students to understand their modern world." (Medusa Exam Website, 2002)"

Harker's contingent of students continues to do well on the Medusa Myth Exam year in and year out.
