This part of the website describes our JCL activities. Here you will find information about conventions (Ludi, CJCL, and NJCL), exams (Medusa and NLE), certamen, and other fun events. Also, check out the calendar. As the Forum was a hub of daily life in Ancient Rome, the Res section is the nucleus of activities of the Harker JCL. This photo above shows the Forum in Rome as seen from the Tabularium. The Senate house, law courts, and important temples were here. Orations were delivered from the rostra, or speaker's platform. The Forum was a place to meet people and transact business.
