2007 Medusa Mythology Exam

The test this year was especially hard. The topic was: All myth characters with names starting with M, E, D, U, S, or A. Congratulations to all who won awards.

2006 Medusa Mythology Exam

Many Harker students won awards this year. Congratulations to Jonny J who won a silver medal.

2005 Medusa Mythology Exam
A number of Harker students won awards in both the lower and upper levels.  A notable achievement was Jonny J's gold medal in the upper level. 

2004 Medusa Mythology Exam
All 12 of this year's participants won awards (see link). In addition, Sridhar C was awarded the Apollo cash award of $550 for his performance and essay. Harker students continue to show a high degree of interest and accomplishment in myth.

2003 Medusa Mythology Exam
Nine of the ten participants from Harker won awards this year and matched their 2001 record of 6 Gold Medals. Sridhar C was one of very few perfect papers out of the 6000 participants and received a special award. Catherine K and Allison K both earned $100 Musa awards for their performance and an essay.

2002 Medusa Mythology Exam
Once again this year Harker students won honors in the Medusa Mythology Exam. All 10 of the participants earned an award, and most significant was the fact that Catherine K was one of only four students nationwide who earned a perfect score. For her performance, she was awarded a special book prize as well as the $550 Apollo Award in the Cash Prize program based on her performance and an essay.

2001 Medusa Mythology Exam
Harker students excelled on the Medusa Mythology Exam, winning a number of medals. The Harker School ranked 3rd in the country, with an overall average score of 37.75/50.

2000 Medusa Mythology Exam
At the end of March, 4 Harker students took the Medusa Mythology Exam and did a fantastic job. All earned either gold or silver medals, the average score for the group being 44.5/50 questions. For comparison, the national average was 27.2/50 questions and the California Average was 35.1/50. There were only 18 perfect papers nationwide and Catherine Kim was one of them.
