Welcome
to our online archive of awards--a virtual Tabularium, if
you will. Harker students strive for academic excellence.
Here in the Honores section you'll find a record of
their accomplishments in a variety of JCL activities. Awards
from regional, state, and national conventions are included,
as are other events such as certamen, the National Latin
Exam and Medusa Mythology Exam. In ancient Rome, crowns (coronae)
of metal, leaves, flowers or even grass were given as a
reward of talent, bravery, military might or civil worth.
This figure depicts a corona navalis, which was
awarded to victorious Roman admirals. |
